Description
Friends of Caroline Hospice are offering Child Bereavement Team Training.
The Child Bereavement Support Team is a group of volunteers dedicated to helping children cope with the death of a loved one. Each volunteer team member is highly trained in techniques that encourage children dealing with a death to express their thoughts and feelings in an environment that provides the reassurance and support a grieving child needs.
Groups range from one child up to eight children. Children served are in grades kindergarten through 12 th grade. They meet for a period of four to six weeks.
