Foundation for Educational Excellence’s Annual Jewels and Jeans Event

The Beaufort County Foundation for Educational Excellence will host its annual “Jewels and Jeans” event on Saturday, March 4 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Country Club of Hilton Head, 70 Skull Creek Drive. The Esquivel family will be recognized for their work as the unofficial voice of Lowcountry Latinos helping to bridge the cultural gap on Hilton Head and throughout the Lowcountry. Proceeds from the event will benefit Beaufort County students by providing grants to exceptional teachers for innovative projects that are not fully funded through traditional channels. Grant recipients will be at the event sharing their stories. The evening also features a live and silent auction as well as a wine pull. Tickets for the event are available now, but usually sell out quickly. Tickets are $60/person. Sponsorships are also available.
