Join us for our Annual Pelican Plunge and start the new year off right !
Friends of Hunting Island's Annual Fund-raising Event is held on New Years Day. Come in your bathing suits or create your own beach attire. Each year, the event gets bigger and the costumes more outrageous.
Be sure to bring towels and something warm to wear home. Once the plungers come out of the water and warm up by the chimenea fires and with hot beverages, there is a costume parade, "Simon Says" and Kazoo songs and other activities to spark the interest of all !
Registration on-site near the Lighthouse at Hunting Island.
Gather sponsors and donations to support the Discover Carolina educational program at Hunting Island.
