Description
Labor Day Celebration has been an annual event on St. Helena Island since the early 1900’s. Today Penn Center continues this community tradition for all to attend.
Join us for a day full of Arts, Crafts, Music, Food & Family Fun. Labor Day Program with special guest speaker, Adriane M. Johnson, Founder & CEO of MEGAS (Motivated, Educated, Empowered Girls Achieving Success) and Riverview Charter School Students. It will also include an annual historical account of Labor Celebration on St. Helena Island.
The day continues with music and lots of good food. Penn Club and Island Cruzers will host a fundraiser Fish Fry and BBQ & Ribs lunch.
You will also enjoy a Community Vendor Fair with Arts, Crafts, & Valuable Information. There will also be an Arts & Crafts table for youth.
Join us for the Gullah Geechee Bike Ride and choose a 25 Mile Ride or a 50 Mile Ride !
