What We Set in Motion:
A Novel by Local Author & Novelist Stephanie Austin Edwards
My love of theater took me to New York City after college where I had a twenty-two year career working in 'Broadway, Film, and Television.' There I also studied dance with Alwin Nicholias, acting at HB Studios, and writing at The New School, before returning to my roots in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. In 2003, I created Lowcountry Women Writers to stimulate my own 'writing habits' as well as the habits of others. I write short stories, essays, and articles, and have just completed my first novel, What We Set In Motion. When I'm not writing, I teach writing workshops through the Arts Council and the Technical College of the Lowcountry.
