Description
Visual and Lowcountry Arts After School Program
The Mather Academy Visual and Lowcountry Arts class will provide students with the opportunity to work hands on in both two and three-dimensional visual arts media with focus on building basic skills and techniques in a variety of areas including drawing, painting, printmaking, papier mache, clay, weaving, papermaking, fiber arts, and digital photography and animation.
Instruction will be provided by BAC teaching artists and guest artists who are skilled in working with students with varying art backgrounds and skill levels. At the end of the semester, all students will be invited to participate in our gallery exhibit in May 2016 honoring our students and celebrating their works of arts at Mather Academy !
